Waitlist

Our waitlist begins when breedings are planned as far as a year in advance. Each specific pairing has it’s own waitlist with reserved spots for puppy picks (ex. first pick, second pick, etc). A completed puppy application, scheduled phone call with me, and $500 deposit reserves your spot on the waitlist. This deposit goes toward the final price of your puppy and is refundable if there is no pregnancy, if there is no puppy to choose from, or if there is a health issue found at the chosen puppy’s vet exam. In all other instances, the deposit is transferrable to any future litter with a $250 discount as a thank you for your patience and loyalty to my breeding program. This is detailed in my waitlist deposit contract that is sent via DocuSign after our phone call.

Check out our current waitlist availability.

After you’ve joined my waitlist, we will be in touch several times before any picks are made.

You will be notified:
At the start of the momma dog’s season
Approx. 1-2 weeks later after hormone testing and breeding
Approx. 4-5 weeks later after confirmed pregnancy via ultrasound
Approx. 3 weeks later for pregnancy xrays and puppy count
Approx. 1 week later when the puppies are born
There will be a pause for their first week. The first week is critical and requires my round the clock attention.
Whichever day of the week they are born becomes the weekly photo and update day! Example: If they are born Monday, expect new photos and an update every Monday until they join their families.

Around 7 weeks the puppies will have their vet exam, shots, fecal testing, and microchips.
Between 8-9 weeks they will be ready to join your family.

Picks will begin any time after 1 week of age and before 5 weeks of age. As soon as the first pick family makes their choice, the second pick family will be notified and so on. We will never take more than four pick reservations per litter.

Weekly video chats with momma and puppies are encouraged and scheduled. I love being able to involve the families on my waitlist with all of our fun behind the scenes. Sorry, home visits are not allowed due to risk of illness to vulnerable and susceptible puppies. We are happy to meet you at my vet’s office for an in person introduction.

Your willingness to keep in touch is one of the most important things to me. If you prefer to purchase a puppy and move on, I’m NOT the breeder for you. I will check in occasionally and I’m always just a phone call away. It is necessary to keep in contact not only for my own attachment to these fur babies but also for the sake of my breeding program. I need to know that the dogs we are producing continue to be of sound temperament, the best health, correct conformation of structure, etc.
